PROCESS ENGINEERS - All Locations

VIRTEX is looking for a Process Engineers for all its Manufacturing Facilities. Successful candidates should have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in PCBA assembly. Due to ITAR Restrictions, US Citizenship or green card is required.

Job Description
  • Analyzing Information, Reporting Research Results, Documentation Skills, ability to settle process related customer issues.
  • Develop process systems or procedures for following through on engineering services and related procedures, and commitments.
  • Ensures that an accurate recording system is maintained on all process related equipment and proposals submitted by or from customers.
  • Develops and implements effective and efficient process engineering service programs.
  • Minimum of 4 live project roll outs.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Coordinate and conduct process engineering service activities with customers and manufacturing.
  • Flexibility, as work priority could change during the day.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with SMT First Articles.
  • Experience in SMT/Through Hole circuit board assembly.
  • 2+ years of experience in receiving inspection processes.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong social skills, Basic PC skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production and quality documents, drawings, and related industry materials.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community.
  • Interpersonal skills, working with other engineers and managers.
  • Submit accurate and timely reports documenting activities to customers or management.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production documents, drawings, and related industry materials.

Job Description
  • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.
  • Flexibility, as work priority could change during the day.
Requirements
  • High School diploma.
  • Analyzing Information , Reporting Research Results, Documentation Skills.
  • Strong social skills, Basic PC skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed inspections of components and materials utilized in the assembly of circuit cards.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production and quality documents, drawings, and related industry materials.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with SMT First Articles.
  • Experience in SMT/Through Hole circuit board assembly.
  • 2+ years of experience in receiving inspection processes.
