Materials Quote Analyst-REMOTE
The Material Quote Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring accurate material cost estimations by transferring and validating data from customer-supplied Bills of Materials (BOM) into our quoting system. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in BOM content. The analyst works closely with the Quote Director, Sales, Project Managers, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate quoting.
- Review proposal packages and collaborate with internal teams to address product specifications, customer requirements, part number discrepancies, and compliance issues.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies or unclear/missing information in customer documentation.
- Verify that all BOM content meets internal standards and guidelines before quotes are generated.
- Accurately input and format customer-supplied BOMs into company quoting software.
- Communicate with suppliers to gather pricing and lead time data and maintain supplier databases as needed.
- Deliver formatted final costed bom to Director of Regional Quoting for pricing roll up.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records within the quoting system.
- Understanding of BOM structures, including top-level assemblies (TLAs) and sub-assemblies.
- Ability to identify and verify exact part numbers and required quantities.
- Familiarity with electronic components and supplier/manufacturer relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience with quoting software such as QuoteFX, QuoteWin, or CalcuQuote is a plus.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems is advantageous.
Group Leader - Minnesota Facility
To lead workers to work within customers specifications in the manufacturing area. To maintain an open line of communication between employees and management.
- Support production activities while looking for ways to improve production processes.
- Assign jobs to move efficiently through the department to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate workers performance and make recommendations as needed. Address workmanship concerns in a timely manner. Promote good working relationships with employees.
- Notify supervisor and/or manufacturing manager of any delays that effect on-time delivery or situations that increase costs to building the product.
- Train operators on all phases of the jobs and motivate them to work at full potential.

Quality Manager / Representative - Minnesota Facility
The Quality Manager / Representative is responsible for ensuring that all electronic products manufactured meet internal quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable industry standards (such as FDA, IPC, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and/or AS9100). This role leads the development and management of the Quality Management System (QMS), drives continuous improvement initiatives, and acts as the key liaison for customer quality audits and regulatory compliance in an electronics contract manufacturing environment.
- Plans, coordinates and directs daily activities of the quality team to ensure quality production of products consistent with ISO 9001 and AS9100 established standards.
- Responsible for the design and implementation of an effective quality management team and system to ensure customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
- Establishes strategic direction in coordination with the General Manager for the Quality Department.
- Support production department personnel to achieve company’s performance goals.
- Lead, manage and develop all QA Staff engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, products and processes.

Operations Manager - Minnesota Facility
The Operations Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls the activities of the Manufacturing functions. Responsible for the performance of all departmental functions for SMT, TU, Mechanical, Wave/CC/Selective solder, and Test production areas. Self-starting and driving improvements daily.
- Reviews and approves adequate plans for the control of planned outputs, budget spending, labor efficiency, material efficiency, engineering effectiveness, and customer service, along with human utilization for SMT.
- Reviews performance against operating plans and standards. Provides reports to subordinates on interpretation of results and approves changes in direction of plans.
- Presents reports on performance as requested by the General Manager.
- Develops and presents to the General Manager matters requiring a decision.
- Coordinates and collaborates with the other departments of the corporation in establishing and carrying out responsibilities.
- Reviews and approves Operations major projects involving major functional changes within the Department’s functional areas.

Test Technician - Entry Level - Minnesota Facility
The electronics Test Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic devices and systems to ensure they meet the required performance and quality standards. The role typically involves working with both analog and digital circuits, conducting tests, and analyzing results to identify defects or issues.
- Perform functional and performance tests on electronic devices, systems, and components. Use testing equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and logic analyzers to evaluate electronic circuits.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions or issues in electronic systems.
- Record test results, including failures and corrective action taken.
- Prepare reports that summarize findings, issues, and resolutions for engineering teams or management.

Senior Buyer - Electronics - New Jersey Facility
Under the functional supervision of the Senior Supply Chain Manager, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for electronic components used in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS). The Senior Buyer will work closely with suppliers and supporting other business functions as required to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and supply chain optimization.
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms for electronic components.
- Supplier Management: Develop strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring quality, cost, and timely delivery of components.

Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Minnesota Facility
To manage all aspects of engineering and support quality production, as well as ensuring all products meet quality standards and customer specifications. Control and Ownership of processes at SMT, Solder paste printing, Reflow Soldering, Hand Soldering, Through-hole insertion, Conformal Coating, Testing and other Assembly operations.
- Support manufacturing by resolving engineering, equipment, process, and component issues. Monitor daily process actions and quality activities.
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and make recommendations for improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, improve time management and overall process efficiencies. Once approved, generate, coordinate, and oversee process change implementation plan.
- Generate the documentation and training needed to define the needed process changes/improvements for the functional areas affected in accordance with the VIRTEX Quality Policy
- Responsible for training and supporting operators in generating machine programs and consistent programming techniques.
- Lead, assist, and train engineers, technicians, and programmers in process engineering duties.

Line Operator- Post Solder - Minnesota Facility
To add components, wires, epoxy, hardware, and modifications to circuit boards and assemble circuit boards into final assemblies per customer requirements.
- Must read and understand technical documents such as customer blueprints, standard operating procedures, and other related documents.
- Add components, wires, epoxy, and hardware to circuit boards using equipment and tools as required such as tweezers, pliers, cutters, solder iron, magnifying light and/or microscope.
- Hand wash areas of the board where sensitive components have been hand soldered.
- Add modifications called out in documents to ensure the board is built to the revision stated in the job folder.
- Install circuit board into final assembly if required by the job folder.
- Maintain daily times worked on specific jobs by scanning in/out of computer and/or keeping daily timesheets when requested. Performs other record keeping as required by department.
- Work independently while maintaining high quality and concentration.
- Perform the same steps repeatedly throughout the day with minimal errors.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 3-6 months related work experience.
- Soldering experience, IPC or JSTD certification, and/or electronics assembly experience preferred.

Machine Operator I- Conformal Coat - Minnesota Facility
The Conformal Coat Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining conformal coating machinery used in the electronic manufacturing process. The role involves ensuring that electronic assemblies receive an appropriate protective coating to enhance their durability and reliability.
- Operate and monitor conformal coating machines to apply protective coatings to electronic assemblies. Ensure machines are set up correctly and operating efficiently.
- Inspect coated assemblies for defects, such as uneven coating or incomplete coverage. Perform quality checks and adjustments as necessary to meet product specifications.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines for conformal coating processes. Ensure that all coating applications meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Manage and prepare coating materials, including mixing and diluting solutions as needed. Ensure that all materials are stored properly and used efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of machine operations, coating processes, and quality checks. Complete production reports and log any issues or deviations from standard procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines related to the use of conformal coating machines and chemicals.
- Contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures, reporting any safety concerns, and participating in any scheduled stretch breaks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Stock Clerk / Data Entry - Minnesota Facility
To support the operations of the stock room by providing data entry, including job material input and material maintenance.
- Performs computer transactions for production material on specific jobs as well as other additional computer transactions
- Perform counts with extreme accuracy, keeps accurate and detailed records
- Pull components from inventory in accordance with the pick list when Virtex has purchased parts
- Stock material received from receiving inspection into inventory, remove material from inventory to fill customer orders according to bill of material/pick list
- Verify component value, type, etc., to assure parts meet customer job requirements
- Verify quantity required to complete a kit to assure quantities meet customer job requirements
- Record any discrepancies, shortages, or questions regarding the kit on shortage sheets to assure that all parts are available, and questions are answered for manufacturing and notify supervisor or manager of major discrepancies/issues.
- Bake boards as necessary per customer requirements
- File job folder documents to ensure easy access and availability
- Deliver production shortages to appropriate department per request

Business Development Manager - REMOTE
VirTex Enterprises is searching for a seasoned EMS Business Development Manager with multiple years of managing high level global aerospace and defense accounts. Ideally, the best candidate will have at least 10 years of continuous improvement in the EMS industry, working in either a global key account role or global sales operations role, and most importantly - managing high level aerospace and defense accounts and relationships. Additional experience in the medical device/equipment and high reliability industrial segments is a plus. Responsibility for this position will require more than $50mm in identified new opportunity (TAM) by the end of the first year of employment and annually. Key objectives for this role are to develop new customer relationships and continually grow/expand the business. This position will report to the Senior Vice President of Business Development.
Preferred location would be near one of Virtex’s seven domestic facilities, but this is not a requirement. This will be a remote/virtual role and will be a part of a North American EMS company with an outstanding reputation and multiple locations in the United States
